Do Do Cheng's Starry Night Talk Show is a late-night celebrity talk show produced by TVB in 1992, created especially for Carol Cheng (Do Do). Renowned for her sharp, bold and incisive interviewing style, Do Do never traded small talk with her guests, cutting straight to the heart of their personal and professional lives until she got the real story. The show featured the biggest names of Hong Kong's entertainment industry—including Anita Mui (her very first guest), Jackie Chan, Jacky Cheung, Chingmy Yau, James Wong, Veronica Yip and Carina Lau. The interviews were famously frank and explosive: the program once uncovered the truth about Jackie Chan's secret marriage to Lin Feng-jiao and their son Jaycee. It remains one of the most talked-about talk shows of 1990s Hong Kong.
